Module 1 Creating a Presentation in PowerPoint - Independent Challenge 2

You are an assistant in the Computer Science Department at City College and you have been asked to create a presenta-tion on a new course being offered on artificial intelligence (AI). AI is a fast-growing industry and the Computer Science Dept. wants to have relevant classes for students to better prepare them for future jobs. You have already started work-ing on the presentation and now you add and resize a picture, add a design theme, and run a spell check.
a. Start PowerPoint, open the presentation IL_PPT_1-3.pptx from the location where you store your Data Files, and save it as IL_PPT_1_AI400.
b. Apply the Circuit design theme to all the slides, apply a design theme from the Design Ideas pane similar to one shown in FIGURE 1-26, then close the Design Ideas pane.
c. Spell check the presentation. There is a misspelled word on Slide 3.
d. Drag Slide 3 above Slide 2 in the Slides tab, then change the slide layout to Two Content.
e. Insert the picture Support_PPT_1_Group.jpg from the location where you store your Data Files into the right content place-holder.
f. Resize the picture using a middle sizing handle, then undo the action by clicking the Undo button.
g. Resize the picture using a corner sizing handle, click the first design in the Design Ideas pane, then close the Design Ideas pane.
h. Switch views. Run through the slide show at least once.
i. Open and close Presenter view.
j. Close the presentation and exit PowerPoint.
