You work for Riverwalk Medical Clinic (RMC), a large medical facility in Cambridge, Massachusetts. You have been asked to put together a presentation on the hospital’s internship program. The presentation will be used to recruit interns from local colleges.
a. Start PowerPoint, then open a new blank presentation.
b. In the title placeholder on Slide 1, type Riverwalk Medical Clinic.
c. In the subtitle placeholder, type Medical Internship Program, press ENTER, then type your name.
d. Underline the text Medical Internship Program, then italicize your name.
e. Apply the Wood Type design theme to the presentation, click the third design theme from the top in the Design Ideas pane, then close the Design Ideas pane.
f. Save your presentation with the filename IL_PPT_1_Intern to the location where you store your Data Files.
g. Use FIGURE 1-24 and FIGURE 1-25 to add two more slides to your presentation.
h. On Slide 3 format the color, font type, and font size of the words Oral interview to Red, 24 pt, Arial Black.
i. Use the buttons on the View tab to switch between PowerPoint’s views, then open and close Presenter View.
j. Print the presentation using handouts, 3 Slides, in black and white.
k. Save and close the file, then exit PowerPoint.
