The CFO at Riverwalk Medical Clinic has hired you to help him analyze departmental insurance reimbursements. He also would like to see what
quarterly revenues would look like with a 20% increase in quarterly reimbursements. You’ve been given a worksheet for this project that contains some but not all of the data.
a. Open IL_EX_1-3.xlsx from the location where you store your Data Files, then save it as IL_EX_1_Reimbursements.
b. Enter the data shown in TABLE 1-4 in the range E4:E11.
c. Type your name in cell A17.
d. Move the label in cell F2 to cell A15.
e. Use the Clipboard to copy and paste the label in cell F3 to cell A12.
f. Use the formula bar to correct the spelling error in the label in cell A6. (Hint: The correct spelling is Immunology.)
g. Edit cell A8 to correct the spelling error in the label. (Hint: The correct spelling is Ophthalmology.)
h. Type Quarter 1 in cell B3, then use Auto Fill to enter Quarter 2, Quarter 3, and Quarter 4 in the range C3:E3.
i. Create a formula in cell F4 that uses cell references and totals the quarterly reimbursements for the Cardiology department.
j. Use the fill handle to copy the formula in cell F4 to the range F5:F11.
k. Using AutoSum, create a formula in cell B12 that totals the first quarter reimbursements for all the departments.
l. Copy the formula in cell B12 to the range C12:E12.

m. Enter a formula in cell B14 to calculate a 20% increase in the first quarter reimbursement total in cell B12. (Hint: You need to add B12 to B12 multiplied by .20. Use parentheses if necessary to follow the order of operations.)
n. Enter a function, using the help of AutoComplete, in cell B15 that calculates the average first quarter reimbursement amount for the departments.
o. Copy the formulas in the range B14:B15 to the range C14:E15.
p. Switch to Page Break view and adjust the page break to the bottom of row 18.
q. Switch to Normal View, then zoom the worksheet to 120%.
r. Turn on gridlines for printing. s. Change the page orientation to landscape.
t. Preview the worksheet in Backstage view, then use the Page Setup dialog box to center the worksheet horizontally and vertically on the page. Compare your screen to FIGURE 1-25.
